The Walter C. Robinson Family Foundation (WCRFF) is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt non profit organization. WCRFF was established in 2016 in honor of Walter C. Robinson, affectionately known as Charles. Charles was a huge supporter of youth pursuing a higher education. Charles worked tirelessly to make sure his four girls, LaShandra, Merishia, Quand, and Inonege, were able to attend college. He was equally supportive when his wife, Alicia, returned to college to complete her degree. His immediate family wasn’t the only beneficiaries of his love of education. Anytime he knew of a student graduating high school and heading to college, time and time again he would reach into his wallet, pull out some money, and give it to them to help with school.

When Charles passed away in 2011, the family decided to honor his life and legacy with a scholarship fund. It became their mission to carry on his spirit by continuing to help other youth attend college. Every year, the family raises funds to provide a scholarship to yield financial assistance to a recent high school graduate as they begin to pursue their college degree. To date, the Walter C. Robinson Scholarship has been awarded to six students.

It’s the family's desire to continue to support other students for many years to come. From that desire and passion, the Walter C. Robinson Family Foundation was created. It is the family's mission to empower individuals who are dedicated to their faith and general communities to pursue higher education. Through scholarships and other charitable endeavors, we strive to foster educational experiences to youth through our commitment to our understanding of Christ-inspired values, including curiosity, growth, open-mindedness, and service to others- qualities essential to maximizing one's impact in the world.
